One of my favorite things about what I do is taking pictures of my girls in the dresses. Caroline was hunting with John tonight, and here's what we did (unedited):
I also got to go have lunch with Caroline this afternoon for lunch. I stayed for recess (and was worn out when I got home), but I really enjoyed seeing the kids. The principal got to talking with me, and guess who is helping with year book photos now! You got it! I volunteered to be at events and just take random pictures. What a GREAT hobby photography is! It has now got me an open invitation to the school. Gotta LOVE that! Caroline really likes this now, but once we hit middle school I am sure she'll ask me to stop. LOL!

Vaca Cookies
The randomness of my blogging an be attributed to me being so tired in the evenings. I pretty much lay in bed from the time we put the kids to bed until I go to sleep. Consequently I am getting excited about the new Parenthood series coming up.
Until then...I want to post about our afternoon.
Caroline's friend Emmie came to play after school which meant she pretty much disappeared and played from the time I pulled into the garage. The smaller girls and I and Tita fed the cows the "vaca cookies." SO funny. The twins may be traumatized by the cow getting really excited about the cookie and reaching with the full extent of her neck and tongue. She got both twins at different times.
First, the observation:
Second....cricket hunting
Third...load up on vaca cookies in buckets
Cute pose for mom..
Mommy fed the vacas for awhile and finally couldn't handle getting covered in cow slobber. SO...Tita stepped in, but I think the vaca got her hand! LOL!
I was feeding the cows when MC got licked. Martha was feeding when A got licked, and I happened to catch the aftermath on camera...
The Fairy is off to feed the baby cows that came up to other side of the fence.
Finally...I caught the twins together!! YAY! If only you could see that they were fighting over the bucket of vaca cookies. Oh well...sisterly love!

It seems funny to do a random post after so long. I'm here, just not as motivated on blogging anymore. I will just post some pics of the first dove hunting trip of the year.
All photos are unedited (hey...at least something is up!):
Check out the stud...
Posing for Mom in the her NEW boots. I learned that faux fur animal print Mary Jane shoes are NOT appropriate hunting attire. A quick trip to D&D and a phone call to my good friend, Emily, to learn what to buy...and NEW, REAL boots!
Of course I am trying to talk her into wearing them to school with a "Cowgirl" dress I made, but with no luck. She says she only wears "Twinkle Toes" to school. Ah..."pick your battles." I guess the country has not gotten to us totally.
Enough posing, Mom!
Mr. Jim trying to hunt for birds as I walk around in my pink and black outfit taking pictures. He's SUCH a good sport. Not one of the guys asked me to stop!
Becca's husband, Craig, came out to hunt too. Thursday he said he's goihng to bring Molly with him to play with Caroline. She's gonna LOVE having a friend! I wonder if she has a hunting dress?!?!
